My career has been spent in support roles in local, regional and national health systems, in neonatal and maternity programmes as well as in the voluntary sector, managing and developing peer support services.
I recently joined the network in March 2023 as Engagement & Evaluation Lead. As a neonatal parent myself I understand the neonatal journey and the value the perspective of parents brings to care and I’m looking forward to working with the team and families to embed the voice of neonatal families into the work we do at all levels.
My focus in this role is engagement, involvement, and insight – connecting with families, staff and the wider community to inform the work of the network. This includes incorporating neonatal lived experience into our work-streams, expanding and supporting our Parent Advisory Group (PAG) to develop resources, input to study opportunities and other coproduction activities to help service development and how Family Integrated Care (FICare) is embedded.
