Neonatal Network Educator
My name is Laura and I have been a neonatal nurse for 14 years. For the last 10 years I have worked with KIDSNTS- Paediatric and Neonatal Transport Service; caring for and moving extremely sick and premature neonates around the West Midlands region and beyond to get them the care they need or by moving them closer to home.
I recently joined the Network as a Neonatal Educator in August 2022. My main role within the Network is supporting and delivering the ‘Foundations in Neonatal Care Course’ which facilitates new healthcare providers with speciality training to prepare them to care for these sick and premature babies on a neonatal unit. Alongside this role, I also work collaboratively with professionals across the West Midlands to provide training programmes for staff within the region.
