Neonatal Network Manager
I qualified as an Adult Nurse in 1996 and then embarked on my neonatal career in 1997. I gained Qualified in Speciality status in 2000. I have worked clinically within a SCBU (L1) and NICU (L3) units in both West Midlands and Dorset. I joined the neonatal network in 2005 as the practice educator, then became acting Lead Nurse in 2019. The network amalgamated with an adjoining network to form West Midlands Neonatal ODN and then became one of five networks as part of the West Midlands Children's Network in 2022.
My passion is to ensure that we give the best care to our babies and families, striving for standardisation and equity within the neonatal units across the West Midlands. By providing gold-standard care by an expert workforce to improve the outcomes for our families and babies and providing care as close to home as possible.
