Maggie trained in the North East &, Oxford Regions and Adelaide, South Australia. She moved to the Midlands in 2003 to take up her post as a consultant paediatric anaesthetist in Stoke on Trent, providing anaesthesia for a variety of surgical and non-surgical specialities. During her consultant career, she established the adult Pre Anaesthetic Management Service, has been an anaesthetic editor for the bedside clinical guidelines group and is a member of the Paediatric Perioperative Care subcommittee of the Association of Paediatric Anaesthetists.
