Patrick Uriot
Congenital Heart Disease & Cancer Network Manager
I joined the team in April 2022. My previous role was coordinating capacity and maintaining the flow of patients both into and out of Critical Care, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. I was the first point of contact for capacity issues for Divisional Managers, Clinical Site Team, Theatres and the Emergency Department, across all 4 units which have 25 beds each, the largest in Europe.
Before that, I worked at the Office of National Statistics. During University, I was a student representative at every level, from the Senate to my local department. I was elected President of the Economics Society, the third-largest academic society with over 1000 members.
I have a Master's in Health Economics & Health Policy, as well as an Undergraduate in Economics. I’ve got a strong interest in data analytics, particularly how it can inform service improvement and have a positive impact on patients and their families.
