Ensuring that all women and birthing people within the Network who have pregnancies complicated by concerns about their fetus or who have had fetal complications in previous pregnancies receive timely specialist care and advice before, during, and after pregnancy.

How we improve care for pregnant people

The West Midlands Fetal Medicine Network coordinates safe and effective pathways for patients and babies with a fetal anomaly or genetic condition and facilitates care in a multi-disciplinary setting ensuring both investigations and management are carried out by healthcare professionals with specialist expertise.
