Neonatal Guidelines

The West Midlands Perinatal Network collaborate with the Bedside Clinical Guidelines Partnership to produce and publish evidence based peer reviewed guidelines.  The guidelines have a 2 yearly cycle, during which authorship is reviewed, and a rigorous peer review process is undertaken to ensure the guidelines are up to date.

The Neonatal Guidelines are available via your Trust internet if you are a part of the West Midlands Perinatal Network.  The 2024-2026 Guidelines will be published online for the first time.  If you have difficulties accessing please contact  bwc.wmnodn@nhs.net  Each unit within the West Midlands will be asked to complete an adoption form to confirm adoption of the guidelines.  Where guidelines are not going to be adopted, this form gives the opportunity to share why it is not suitable and to enable feedback to authors to look at updating the guideline.  The adoption form will be sent to the Network Guideline Lead for each unit.  If you haven't received this form please contact bwc.wmnodn@nhs.net.
